Run a college basketball draft pool

A pool, not a bracket. Your crew snake-drafts college players before the first tip, every point they score in the tournament counts, and the highest total wins. Members never pay TourneyRun.

How is this different from a bracket?

You draft players, not winners. Your roster keeps scoring for as long as your players keep playing, and a player whose team is knocked out keeps every point he already scored.

How does scoring work?

One fantasy point per real point. A 28-point game is 28 points for whoever drafted him, and the rate is stored per league at one for one.

What happens if I miss my pick?

The clock runs out and the pick is made for you: the top available player in your queue first, then Smart Draft if you bought it, then the best available player by expected tournament points, skipping anyone carrying an injury flag.

How many teams and rounds?

The commissioner picks both. Teams: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 or 20. Rounds: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 or 15. The defaults are 10 and 10, which is 100 players drafted.

What does it cost?

The commissioner pays one flat $20 league fee, plus $3 if they add Smart Draft. Everyone else joins free, TourneyRun takes no cut of the pot, and the buy-in is collected and paid out by the commissioner.
