Thursday morning of championship week, before the first group tees off. Because the course changes every year, so does the exact time: the lock is computed from that year's venue longitude and lands around 5:00 to 6:00 a.m. local time at a US course. If no longitude is stored for the venue, it falls back to Thursday 12:00 UTC.
Yes. They are part of the field, so they are on the pick sheet like everyone else. They usually sit at long odds, which puts them in the bottom tier, and any golfer with no odds match lands there too. The commissioner can move a golfer to another tier before the lock.
TourneyRun defaults to 7 across five tiers. The commissioner can set 1 to 10 per tier and drop 1 to 4 of each entry's worst scores. Seven picks with the worst two dropped counts the best five.
The 156-player field is deep enough that even a 12-team draft at 8 picks each takes 96 golfers and leaves the rest of the field undrafted. Each golfer goes to one team only. The Snake Draft is free during its beta.
The PGA Championship uses a three-hole aggregate playoff. In TourneyRun Style, the +30 win bonus goes to the golfer the ESPN leaderboard lists first. The Office Pool tiebreaker compares predictions with the winner's 72-hole total, which does not include playoff holes.
