Every golfer in the week's field gets a price from his betting odds. Each member picks a set number of golfers without going over the cap, and two members can own the same golfer.
From the betting odds. Each golfer’s implied chance of winning becomes his share of the field, and that share is multiplied by the cap times the number of picks. Salaries round to the nearest $100 and sit between a floor and a ceiling ($3,000 and $15,000 at a $50,000 cap). Golfers with no odds are priced from world ranking.
No. Every salary, the floor and the ceiling all scale with the cap, so a $100,000 cap prices the same field at roughly double a $50,000 cap. The number of golfers per lineup changes the shape of the choices; the cap mostly changes the size of the numbers.
Yes. Any number of members can have the same golfer. One golfer cannot appear twice in the same lineup.
They can. Salaries are recalculated after each field update, which runs from the Sunday night before the tournament through Wednesday. The cap is checked when you submit your lineup.
It cannot be submitted. Swap a golfer for a cheaper one until the total is at or under the cap and you have exactly the number of golfers the league requires.
No. Entries on the same score share the place. Only the Office Pool has a tiebreaker, and only the Office Pool allows more than one entry per member.
